3. STAINLESS ULTIMATE HEAVY
   Special BBs infused with metallic powder for higher weight and increased Joule energy. Diameter 5.95 mm (± 0.01 mm). Sold in 1000-round bags in weights 0.38–0.50 g. Not recommended for gameplay due to safety and hardness; they also require barrel cleaning and increase barrel wear. Intended for competition and target shooting.

Recommendations and Practical Tips

• Magazines are your vault
  When crawling or playing in dusty environments, always use pouches with flaps. If sand enters your magazine, the BBs will carry it straight into the hop-up chamber and barrel, ruining accuracy and potentially damaging the bucking and barrel.
  
  
• Don’t eat from the ground
  If BBs fall onto the ground or remain exposed to dust, do not reuse them — even microscopic dirt acts like sandpaper inside your barrel and hop-up.
  
  
• Regular inner-barrel maintenance
  After every game, clean your barrel with a cleaning rod and a dry microfiber cloth. Avoid oils — the barrel must remain dry for proper hop-up function. You may use isopropyl-based cleaners. Check our guide How to properly clean an airsoft barrel.
  
  
• Watch your speedloaders
  Dirt often enters guns through a dirty speedloader. Keep it as clean as your magazines.
  
  
• Material degradation
  BBs — especially BIO / PLA — react to humidity. If you leave them in a magazine or open bag for weeks, they may swell or change surface properties, causing jams and serious gun damage. Discard deformed BBs immediately.
  
  
• Final advice
  Do not store BBs for years. Buy fresh ammo before events and use opened packages quickly. Keep them in the original packaging with silica gel.
