BLS BIO TRACER BBs are a proven brand in the world of 6 mm ammunition. The Taiwanese manufacturer offers high-quality, globally top-selling BBs for all airsoft replicas—whether you are using pistols, rifles, SMG submachine guns, LMG light machine guns or sniper rifles. BLS BIO TRACER BBs undergo hand-checked and extremely strict quality control. Besides dimensional accuracy, BLS also focuses on surface smoothness, carefully inspecting every polishing and coating step to ensure maximum range and consistent flight trajectory. BLS BBs offer the best price-to-quality ratio. Their measured diameter is 5.95 mm (± 0.01 mm), making them perfectly safe for tight bore barrels (6.01 mm) as well as for high-RoF builds above 25 BBs/s. A tracer unit is required to charge the BBs—this can be a tracer suppressor, a magazine, or a hop-up chamber with a suitable tracer module. BIO BBs are made from a PLA-based biodegradable polymer (Polylactic Acid) and therefore decompose significantly faster in nature—some fields and arenas even require BIO BBs exclusively.

The most common product line—standard plastic or eco-friendly BIO PLA BBs. Diameter 5.95 mm (± 0.01 mm). Available in resealable bags or newly in portable bottles. Offered in weights from 0.20 to 0.32 g.
PRECISION ULTIMATE HEAVY & BIO ULTIMATE HEAVY
A special line of heavy BBs in both standard and BIO PLA form. Diameter 5.95 mm (± 0.01 mm). Sold in 1000-round bags or 1 kg packs. Available from 0.36 to 0.48 g.
STAINLESS ULTIMATE HEAVY
BBs with added metal powder for increased mass and higher energy. Diameter 5.95 mm (± 0.01 mm). Available in 1000-round bags in weights 0.38–0.50 g. Not recommended for gameplay due to safety and hardness. These are intended for competition and target shooting.
TRACER & TRACER BIO
Premium tracer ammunition for night games and indoor arenas. Diameter 5.95 mm (± 0.01 mm). Available in resealable bags or bottles. Offered in weights from 0.12 to 0.32 g. BLS now manufactures not only green and red, but also blue tracer BBs.

Recommendations & Practical Tips

Magazines as a dust vault
When crawling or playing in dusty environments, use pouches with flaps. If sand gets into the magazine, the BBs will bring it directly into the hop-up chamber and barrel, degrading accuracy and potentially damaging the bucking and inner barrel.
Do not reuse BBs from the ground
Even microscopic dust works like sandpaper on your bucking and barrel, so never re-use dropped BBs.
Regular inner barrel cleaning
After every game, clean the inner barrel using a cleaning rod and dry microfiber cloth. Avoid oils—barrels must remain clean and dry for proper hop-up performance. Isopropyl alcohol can be used for degreasing. More info in our guide: How to properly clean an airsoft barrel.
Watch your speedloader
Dirty speedloaders often introduce debris into your replica. Keep them clean.
Material degradation
BIO / PLA BBs react to moisture and the environment. Leaving BBs in magazines or open bags for weeks may cause swelling or surface changes, risking jams or barrel damage. Discard such BBs immediately.
Final advice
Use BBs fresh—don’t store them for years. Keep them in the original bag with a silica gel pouch. Even a premium barrel can be ruined by a dirty or deformed BB. If unsure which BBs to choose, check our guide: How to choose the right airsoft BBs.
