Gens ACE 7.4V 250 mAh (35C) Li-Pol Battery with a JST connector in a HPA Micro configuration is a compact airsoft battery designed for HPA systems such as PolarStar, GATE Pulsar, and others. It delivers stable performance and reliable operation. Thanks to its compact dimensions of 37 × 21 × 11 mm, it fits inside HPA pistol grips (EPeS, Delta Armory, and more).
Gens ACE is a trusted battery manufacturer widely recognized in airsoft, RC, and FPV communities. This 7.4V Li-Pol battery is designed to power HPA systems with a JST connector, including PolarStar HPA Engines, GATE Pulsar Series, and complete HPA rifles such as the EPeS Admiral or Delta Armory HPA models. Compared to older NiMH batteries, it offers higher efficiency and more consistent output, while remaining smaller than typical Li-Ion batteries. This allows installation directly inside the rifle without the need for an external PEQ battery box or battery pouch. The result is a cleaner setup appreciated by every Mil-Sim player. The battery features a JST connector and a balance connector for safe charging and long service life.
Slim profile designed for HPA pistol grips and other confined battery compartments.
Stable output and long service life, even with frequent use.
Efficient power transfer with lower losses compared to Tamiya connectors.
Suitable for HPA rifles, SMGs, machine guns, and DMR platforms equipped with a JST connector.
Introduction and overview of Gens ACE airsoft batteries.
It is primarily designed for PolarStar, GATE Pulsar, Wolverine, and other HPA engines equipped with a JST connector. The 7.4V output is ideal for powering FCUs, where reliability and stable voltage are more important than high current.
Yes. Its compact dimensions of 37 × 21 × 11 mm are specifically designed for EPeS, Delta Armory, and similar HPA grips. It's one of the smallest practical Li-Pol batteries for HPA systems, eliminating the need for an external battery or PEQ box.
HPA systems consume very little power, so you can generally expect a full day of play. In practice, that means around 5,000–10,000+ shots, depending on your FCU and settings. Most players are more likely to forget to recharge it than run it empty.
An HPA engine doesn't power a motor or gearbox. The battery only supplies the FCU electronics and solenoid valve, resulting in dramatically lower power consumption than an AEG.
No. Always use a 7.4V battery, as higher voltage may damage the FCU. Unlike AEGs, HPA systems are not designed for 11.1V batteries. If you need more runtime, carry a spare battery instead.
A higher C-rating means the battery can handle rapid current spikes without voltage drop. While this isn't as critical for HPA as it is for AEGs, it helps ensure stable FCU operation.
Use a Li-Pol charger with balance charging support and a low charging current (ideally around 0.2–0.5 A). There's no need to rush—gentle charging significantly extends the lifespan of such a compact battery.
