Precision Inner Barrel by Maple Leaf

The tight precision barrel by Maple Leaf ensures better grouping, higher accuracy, and extended range due to the reduced space around the BB as it travels through the barrel. This stabilizes the BB and reduces oscillation, improving shot consistency. Additionally, more air remains behind the BB, enabling it to exit the barrel at a higher muzzle velocity. For optimal results, the manufacturer recommends pairing this barrel with Maple Leaf hop-up buckings. The barrel is crafted from chrome-plated brass.

• BB quality and cleanliness, along with the barrel and hop-up bucking, are essential for accurate shooting. It’s important to prevent dirt from reaching the BBs (e.g., in magazines during crawling). The inner barrel must also be regularly cleaned to avoid debris affecting shooting performance.

• Selecting the perfect barrel length for a specific setup is almost an alchemy, as it requires consideration of multiple physical variables.
  
  
• The most critical factor is the air volume in the cylinder (or released gas), commonly referred to as the Cylinder:Barrel Ratio. In short, the longer the barrel or the heavier the BB, the more air is needed from the cylinder. This is why various cylinder designs with or without ports are available. For gas guns, the power of the gas used or the HPA regulator output must also be factored in.
