IFF Position Light MANTA Strobe Beacon

The FMA MANTA Strobe is an innovative position and identification light (IFF Beacon) designed primarily for modern military helmets. Its curved design fits perfectly on ballistic and non-ballistic helmets and is suitable for attachment to backpacks or other gear with VELCRO panels. The light combines ease of use and maximum safety with two lighting modes – infrared (IR) and visible red light.
The light is easy to operate even while wearing gloves. The MANTA Strobe is made of impact-resistant polymer, ensuring reliability in demanding conditions. Its design minimizes the risk of snagging on obstacles.

Instructions

• Activating the visible mode requires pressing both sides of the button simultaneously, preventing accidental activation and revealing the operator's position.
• Upon activation, the device vibrates, providing immediate feedback.
• Pressing the side button activates the IR mode or toggles back to the visible light.
• IR mode can be verified without NVG by pointing a mobile phone camera at the light in a dark room (a blue/purple light should be visible on the screen). This method may not work with all phone brands.
